My desires in life is to be in law
enforcement, either in human law enforcement or animal law enforcement. My
goals are to graduate high school in the top range of my class and to go to the
University of Florida with a degree in Criminology & Law. I am currently a
member of Dillard High’s Robotic club team 108 Sigma Cats. I have a hobby of
writing poems even though people think it’s kind of weird with my voice being
deep as it is. I love animals and have always found Animal Cops to be true
heroes. Everyone on my mom’s side had a job as a teacher or education or in law
enforcement or the armed forces. On my dad’s side my family is very large to
the point where I am still meeting family members. I always had this desire to
visit the Philippine Islands, because I feel like it would be cool to visit
somewhere exotic and has some Spanish influence blended with some Asian
culture. On top of learning Spanish I
want to learn to speak Tagalog (the most commonly used language of the
Philippines), because if I go to the Philippines I want to be able to
communicate and not need a translator and plus it is an interesting language
that has a combination of Asian language and Spanish influence. But over all I
would love to get the full extinct of both sides of my family and trace my
family to their roots.
The last
book I read was Forged by Fire and it was a great book. Forged by Fire was a
book about a boy (Gerald) who had a hard life living with a mom who wasn’t the
best parent, but tried to do her best when she could. There is no extinct of
his father, but his mom had to find some kind of work to take care of him and
left him home alone when she left. He ends up getting a sister and a step-dad
who was abusive and used to touch his daughter in non-appropriate ways and Gerald
had to be the one to protect her. However, when Gerald was about eight he
didn’t like the idea of her living with him, being his sister, or having a
step-dad. I like the book Forged by Fire, because it shows a journey that a boy
had to endure in order to live in the life he had. I also like the book because
it’s a situation that is very realistic and people in the world can relate to
it. It shows that some good can come from something that seemed bad at first.
It also displays the fact that even though you could only look out for yourself
family can become your top list priority.
